Speaking Engagements

I talk about adult ADHD and autism
to rooms that need an expert.

Twenty-plus years of clinical work generates a lot of stories and a healthy perspective. I speak to clinicians, companies, professional groups, and podcast audiences about what ADHD and autism look like in adults: not the childhood picture most training covers, but the professional sitting in your audience wondering if you are about to describe them.

Formats

Talks, panels, continuing
education, and podcasts.

I do keynotes and shorter talks, panel discussions, continuing education for clinicians, and podcast conversations. I am comfortable with a ballroom, a boardroom, or a microphone in a closet that a host swears sounds professional. Content gets built for the room: what a group of therapists needs is not what a leadership team needs, and neither one needs slides read aloud to them.

What I bring

The clinical picture,
minus the jargon.

I have run programs, chaired a public behavioral health board, directed a school for autistic children, and sat across from adult clients for two decades. I also founded and lead Professionals for Neurodiversity Adults (p4na.org), a community of clinicians and professionals across disciplines working with neurodivergent adults. That group keeps me honest and keeps me current: what I bring to a stage is not one therapist's view, but what I am learning from colleagues in fields adjacent to mine and from research as it lands.

All of that range means I can speak to the science, the systems, and the lived Tuesday of it, and move between them without losing the room. People tend to leave with the same two things: a clearer picture of how these brains work, and at least one thing they can change the following week.

People leave with a clearer picture, and one thing they can change the following week.
